Capital One:
Virtual Card

As Brand Copywriter Consultant for

Capital One, I developed strategic copy

for the new Virtual Card.

Working with tech product partners, I was

lead brand writer in a Capital One positioning exercise for Virtual Card.

 

The strategy was to position Virtual Card

as a simpler, safer alternative to the physical

credit card.

During the project, presentations with brand

partners consisted of getting overall buy in

around verbiage for values props and

positioning. 

Open dialogue was the standard. The feedback

it inspired from the product team ensured that

the target positioning was met with success.

Results of the brand exercise have helped 

lay the foundation for product copy around

Virtual Card as it enters market.
